Myth 1: Hair loss is the cause of wearing tight hats or caps
This sounds like a humorous myth but it’s actually a very widespread thought among many men that those who wear tight headgear will lose their hair younger and quicker. The reason for this is that if you wear tight hats then the scalp receives less oxygen and blood flow. This does not however cause hair loss.
Myth 2: Steroids have nothing to do with hair loss
Many men push weights and train as body builders like to kid themselves that steroids won’t lead to hair loss. This is a myth! Steroids cause the male sex hormone testosterone to aggravate baldness and therefore make your hair loss more rapid. More steroids = more testosterone = less hair.
Myth 3: Baldness comes from my mother’s side of the family.
Lots of men assume that kids inherit hair loss from their genes, especially their moms. There is scientific proof that baldness can be passed down by your parents. That means you fathers side of the family too. Stop blaming your mother.
